Absolutely! The Yakima OffGrid Cargo Basket # Y07138 is 44" long by 40" wide. From my experience with the Tacoma and some research, the roof size is about 60" long and 52" wide on the double cab. The usual aftermarket roof rack crossbars for the 2018 Toyota Tacoma like # Y00425 are 50" long. This means the Yakima OffGrid will definitely fit on your roof.

I attached my video review and install of this rack on a 2020 Toyota Tacoma. It's also a double cab which is an extra point for you since it's the larger roof space option compared to the access cab. Even though I had it installed in the truck bed of the Tacoma with a ladder rack, you can still see from the video how it can also fit on the roof with a roof rack.
