Gooseneck Ball and 5th Wheel Rails Compatible with Reese Elite System in 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

I just bought a 2015 Chevy 3500hd dually, non cab and chassis. It has the Reese elite hitch in it but came with no fifth wheel or gooseneck. What do I need? How do i know if it’s factory installed or not? I mainly need a gooseneck ball right now. Thanks

For your Reese Elite system in your 2015 Chevy 3500 Dually it sounds like you have # RP30158-68. If that is what you have, then you will use the one of the following:

-B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ford, GM, and Nissan Titan Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNXA2061
-Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit for Ford Super Duty and Nissan Titan XD Under-Bed Gooseneck Hitch # RP30137
-Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for GM/Chevy/Ford/Nissan Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 30K # C60692

If you want compatible 5th wheel rail adapters then you can use the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156, the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ford OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # DM6175, or Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR. There are also hitches directly compatible with the pucks. The elite system has the same measurements as the Ford OEM puck system so hitches compatible with Ford factory pucks will be directly compatible with the Elite system you have in your 2015 Chevy.
