Does Demco Hijacker Hitch Hold Up Well Over Time
Question:
I was wondering how this hitch does after being used for a while and driving on gravel, and getting dust, dirt, road grime in the rack and pinion. Does it get gunked up and make it operate worse or stop it from moving? Have there been any issues with that? If so, how hard is it to clean?

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 does not have a reputation as getting difficult to use over time in any way. We have not had any customers come back and let us know that there was issues like what you described over time. I attached the maintenance portion of the install manual for the hitch for you to check out as well.
