Daily Maintenance of SaltDogg Salt Spreader
Question:
Im trying to find out how or what to use to clean the entire unit after completing each use?

For your SaltDogg # 337SHPE1000 Salt Spreader it is recommended that you wash (with water) the spreader after every use to make sure no material is left under the auger and/or inside the trough. Ensure that water fully drains from spreader when done.
Additionally you should lubricate the bearing every 7 – 10 hours of operation with general automotive grease. SaltDogg also recommends using dielectric grease on all of your electrical connections. If you don't have these items, I have attached links to their product pages.
More information can be found in the installation instructions. I have attached a link to those.
