Self-Adjusting Electric Brakes That Fit 2017 Palomino Columbus 383FB 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2017 Palomino Columbus 383fb 5th wheel. getting ready to do some preventative maintenance, changing wheel bearings and upgrading the moryde shackles with the wet bolt kit. I am thinking since Im in there I might upgrade to self adjusting brakes. the current ones are original and I have never looked at them. Ive probably got 5-6,000 miles on the unit since purchased. Will the AKEBRK-7-SA be the right ones to order? what else would I need, I plan on reusing hubs and drums also, what would be the correct grease seals to get. I already have Timken bearings and the Moryde upgrade kit.

Yep, you are on the money with the exact self-adjusting electric brakes that fit your 2017 2017 Palomino Columbus 383FB 5th wheel trailer, which are the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting # AKEBRK-7-SA.
The only other thing you will need with these brakes is the mounting hardware, which is the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies # BRKH12.
In regards to a grease seal, what you need is the Grease Seal # GS-2125DL.
Then for grease I recommend the Prime Guard Wheel Bearing Hi-Temp Red Grease # L11380, and for a bearing packer I recommend the Bearing Packer # ALL647646.
