Weight Distribution System for RV with 500 lbs Tongue Weight and 1-7/8 inch Ball
Question:
I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited with 5.38 gears. I’d like a WDS for my RV that has a tongue weight of 500 lbs. I will be using the Draw-Tite 76104. My RV Uses I 1 7/8” ball. Can you recommend a WDS that allows backing up?

The Reese Weight Distribution System part # RP67509 would be a great choice for a trailer that has a tongue weight of 500 lbs and would allow backing up as much as any other system as long as you back up mostly in a straight line. WD systems can be reversed but you have to make sure the trailer gets nowhere near jackknifing. Then for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you'd want the part # C48810.
