Does Reese Elite Rail kit for 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 have Same Dimensions as OEM Rail Kit
Question:
My 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD High Country had a Factory Gooseneck Under-bed hitch which was removed prior to my purchase. I am considering your Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Complete Hitch Item # RP30158-68 and am requesting any available specification sheet that shows the measurements to each of the center of the pucks from each other. This will help me assess whether it will fit with the already cut holes in my truck bed. I also need a Grade 5 rear hitch if your could recommend one without drilling. Thanks!

The Elite fifth wheel rail kit part # RP30158-68 has very different puck dimensions than the factory rail kit your 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 would have came with. The areas of your truck bed that are flat or designed for matching up to the pucks of the OEM rail kit will not match up.
The # RP30158-68 will allow you to use a hitch like the Reese M5 part # RP30921 which is a very quiet and high quality hitch.
To answer you question directly though the left to right dimension between the pucks is 30 inches and front to back is 13 inches. As a somewhat related fun fact the Reese Elite rail kit has the same dimensions as the Ford rail kits but not GM or Ram rail kits.
