Wiring K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors w/ Turn Signals # KS70103-04T on Toyota Tundra SLT

Question:

Do you know if the 2008 Toyota Tundra SLT came pre wired for the turn signal function on the mirror? Basically is it plug and play? Or do i have to hardwire the wires from each distinct turn signal wire? I have turn signal mirrors with heat only but i know sometimes they prewire these things.

If your OEM mirrors had both the heat and turn signals functions, then your 2008 Toyota Tundra SLT is already wired for those functions.

To check whether your truck is pre-wired for the turn signal function use a circuit tester, such as part # PTW2993, to test the connector pin for each mirror. If you do not have the turn signal function at the connector, then in order to have that functionality with the # KS70103-04T on your 2008 Tundra, you would have to manually re-wire your turn signals, and possibly alter the mirrors, which we do not recommend.
