Knob Panel for Install of Redarc Tow Pro in 2017 Toyota Tacoma Using Dash Cut Outs
Question:
My 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road has two different sizes of openings below the coin cubby to the left of the steering wheel. One opening is is taken up by the stock 110v switch for the bed outlet and the other is the blank I want to use for mounting the knob for the Red Arc elite controller. Your mounting panel #331-TSPI-002 description says it fits 2015-current Tacomas and panel #331-TPSI-007 also claims to fit 2012-current Tacoma - though notes it is for the left side switch. While the 002 part description includes dimensions I think its for the smaller opening currently occupied by the 110v switch, the description for the 007 item doesnt have dimensions in the description, so unsure if it will fit the available, larger taller - about 1.5 opening.

I attached a picture that shows where the # 331-TPSI-007 installs in your 2017 Toyota Tacoma. It actually was designed to fit to the left of the steering wheel and not in the cubby area you mentioned. This would be the cleanest and easiest way to install the knob of the Redarc Tow Pro # RED44FR.
