Solution for Replacing Trailer Jack with 2 inch Outer Diameter

Question:

Hello Im looking for a replacement jack for my 2009 Jayco 1006 Pop-Up camper this looks like a great paring, my concern is all the products I review are 2 1/4 inch diameter. The current one is 2 inch or less. Want to be sure this will fit the opening before I remove the old one if that is possible . Not sure if 2 1/4 is standard size for A style hitch frame. Not sure you will have that info Im not locating it. Thanks

The most common outer diameter for an a-frame trailer jack is 2-1/4 inch but the 2 inch diameter you have is also reasonably common as well. In nearly all situations a 2-1/4 inch jack will replace a 2 inch jack as the hole on the trailer frame where the jack passes through is big enough for both sizes. If you do find that you need the 2 inch diameter we have the Dutton Lainson part # DL22530 which is this size.

Otherwise if you can get away with 2-1/4 inch the part # TJA-5000T-B would work great too.
