Options for Lifting Tandem Axle Horse Trailer for Level Ride
Question:
Morning, I own a 1999 gooseneck horse trailer tandem axle and tow it with a 2017 ram 3500 SRW. I need to lift the trailer 4-6 inches to get it to ride flat. Do you have a kit that would do this? Thanks

There are a couple of options for lifting your horse trailer, though there are no kits that provide the 4 inches to 6 inches of lift you are seeking. The highest lift kit for a tandem axle trailer is an over/under kit.
This is commonly referred to as "flipping the axles." What this does is move your trailer's leaf springs to the top of your axle and lifts your trailer approximately the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack (please keep in mind this conversion kit is for use with double-eye springs only). The correct one will depend on your trailer axle's diameter, and you would need two kits, one for each axle.
