What 7-Way Circuits Need to be Active for Curt Echo Mobile C51180 to Function
Question:
On my 2017 Hyundai Tucson, I am installing CURT 57672 Dual-Output 4-Way Flat Vehicle-Side to 7-Way RV Blade Trailer Wiring adapter. I will also be purchasing a CURT 51180 Echo controller. When I install the 57672 adapters, I know that I need to black wire and since I will not have back up lights, I do not need the yellow wire, My question is : Since I am installing the Curt Echo do I need to hook up the Blue wireElec Brakes and if so, where. Thanks for your help

Helpful Expert Reply:
Only the 12 volt circuit of the 7-way adapter you plan to install will need to be active to be used with the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 on your vehicle. We actually have a 7-way adapter kit we put together that was specifically designed to be used with the Echo with part # ETBC7L which comes with a similar 7-way/4-way adapter and the other wiring and connections to make the 12 volt circuit active.
