5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2020 Ford F250 With Factory Tow/Prep Package
Question:
I have purchased new F250 with the fifth wheel prep package that includes pick system. It also came with a factory installed gooseneck hitch. What fifth wheel hitch would you recommend for my application. I will say I prefer a BandW hitch brand but am open to best recommendation. Thanks.

You cannot go wrong with the B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch for the Ford Tow/Prep package, just check out the product reviews! The hitch uses beefy 1 inch thick jaws that hold the 5th wheel's king pin super tightly for great ride quality. The hitch uses a cam-action latch handle that makes releasing the hitch easy, even if the terrain you're on isn't perfectly level. If you have a short bed truck, use the sliding version, part # BWRVK3370. For a long bed truck, use the stationary hitch, part # BWRVK3300.
Either hitch will drop right into the pucks and latch right up after some initial adjustment. If you don't already have a 7-way connector installed in your truck bed, you can install one using part # C57008.
I've linked to installation videos for the hitches and connector mentioned above.
