Question:
Is there a video for this year and model vehicle? If so, can you please email it to me or direct me to a link for it? Thank you,

In order to install a 7-way at the rear of your 2008 Audi A6 you will first need a 4-way connector if you do not have one. For that I would recommend you get a Wiring Harness # C59496.
The next thing you will need is a 4-way to 7-way Conversion Kit # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a fully functional 7-way. Check out the installation instructions and video I attached for this product too.
The Hopkins 7-way # HM48470 that you referenced would work great as a replacement 7-way if you had damaged one similar to it, but it would not be the best for what you are trying to do.
