Troubleshooting Installation of Ultra Faucets RV Shower Valve with Standard Shower Hose Connected

Question:

Install went as expected but flow rate with shower hose attached is restricted. It appears that the black diverter on the top of the fixture has a small outflow hole. It is off set from the center so that when my shower hose is screwed onto the outside threads the inner plastic seating ring covers some portion of that hole. Im guessing this is the issue with the lack of flow. I have a standard hose. Are there shower hoses for this application that do not use an inner seating ring? Do you carry one? If so which item. OR: can I drill an additional hole in the center?

The Ultra Faucets RV Shower Valve w/ Vacuum Breaker - Single Lever Handle - Brushed Nickel # 277-000024 has that offset hole in the vacuum breaker diverter on purpose. The vacuum breaker on this shower valve lets you attach a handheld shower set and it has an anti-siphon device that will prevent the backflow contamination of your clean water supply. The anti-siphon device consists of an air hole that will drain water back out of the hose. You will want to make sure the washer does not cover it as that will be an issue but it is designed to use standard shower hose so the hose itself isn't the issue. I recommend trying a different washer as that covering a hole will impact flow and the anti-siphon function. You can enlarge or drill another hole as you stated, but that will void your warranty.
