Towing Mirror Options For My 2005 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
I have a 2005 Toyota 4runner. If I could find total replacement mirrors for towing I would do it. If replacement larger mirrors are not available I need to look at temporary add ons. Will the item #11501CIPA Custom Towing Mirror fit over my existing mirrors or what about item #40375-2? I have had the ones that strap on the existing mirrors for another vehicle and they were useless. Always slipped

The only complete replacement mirror we carry for your 2005 Toyota 4runner is a electric/heated mirror by K-Source. Both the passenger side # KS70105T and the drivers side # KS70106T. If you are wanting to try another universal towing mirror, I've used the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # 7070-2 and when I installed it correctly, the mirror didn't slip. Check out my video to get an idea of how they install.
If there was a fit for a mirror like # CTM4000 I would recommend that, but there isn't. The universal towing mirror works well in my experience!
