Does My 2014 Chevy Silverado Have To Be Programmed After Installing A Brake Controller
Question:
I put in a OEM brake controller, the wire was already there for me to plug right into. Do I have to get the truck programmed from dealership so that truck knows I installed brake controller.

No, you should not have to have the truck programmed. If the vehicle has a factory plug for the brake controller you should only have to connect the power wire and insert a fuse.
