Installation Location and Power for Tire Minder TM79FR System
Question:
I have recently ordered a new TireMinder TM79FR system from your company that is currently on backorder but have a few technical question on this unit fore which i am hoping you can provided me some answers. 1 Can the dash tire pressure monitor be directly plugged into a USB socket vs having to use the provided 12 VDC Cigarette lighter plug adapter? I have a 2019 motorhome that has multiple USB dash connectors and it would be an easier power wiring installation. 2 What is the voltage and amperage draw on the remote system signal booster? 3 What is the optimum mounting location for the signal booster? I have a 38foot class A motorhome and will be flat towing a car which extends about 12foot total past the rear bumper of the motorhome. Appreciate your assistance.

The TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster - Bluetooth - 10 Tire Sensors # TM56FR will allow you to use a USB power port in your vehicle instead of using the 12v power adapter to USB.
The signal booster draws 12 volts at 23.7mA.
The optimum Mounting location for the booster is near the rear of your motorhome close to the outside side edge. I've attached a photo to assist.
