How Do Trailer Lights Ground and Wire Up
Question:
I am re-wiring a camping trailer, and going to add a few running lights, as well as re-do the stop / turn lights, when wiring running lights, there are on some pairs, 2 wires, the green wire from the connector is running lights, which would provide the power to the running light, but what is the 2nd wire for? Ground? If so, would i be running both wires to each running light?

If the second wire is white it most likely is a ground wire and would just need to be run to a clean, metal surface.
However, in some situations the light will ground through the mounting bolts of the light assembly. So if the light assembly is a stop/turn and tail assembly and there are only two wires the assembly grounds through the mounting hardware and the two wires are for the stop/turn and tail light circuits.
If the light assembly only has a single intensity bulb and there are two wires then one wire would be for the ground circuit.
The Trailer Light # 30-92-001 that you referenced has three wires, the white is the ground, the green wire is the tail light and the black wire is the stop and turn signal.
