Carrying 2 Kayaks, 2 Conventional Bikes and 2 E-Bikes On My 2020 Ford F150

Question:

As Queen said, I want it all. Ive got a 2020 Ford F-150 SuperCab with a 6.5foot bed. I want to carry two Delta 12.10 kayaks on ladder racks, two Scott Spark eride 920 electric mountain bikes 15x110mm thru-axles, weight approx. 52 lbs. each, and two conventional bikes with 9x100mm skewers. Oh, and the whole thing needs to be compatible with a BAK Revolver X4 hard rolling aluminum tonneau cover which would be rolled up out of the way when the bikes are in the truck bed. Any recommendations?

I love it! Well, you're at the right spot. We have it all! If you have the BAK Revolver X4 Hard Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # BAK27ZR on your 2020 Ford F-150 you'll need the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000946 as it is the only option that will work with your tonneau cover.

Now that we have that, let's take care of your kayaks. I would use two of the eTrailer Kayak Carriers # e98878 as they are super simple yet very functional! They come with all the tie downs you need to secure your Kayaks down. So now that we've taken care of that, the Swagman Patrol 2 Bike Rack # S64701 will work for your two conventional bikes as it has adjustable fork blocks that will work with bikes that have 9-mm quick-release skewers like yours.

As far as your electric bikes go, you could always get the Swagman Current # S64678. It will hold the weight of both of your bikes since it has a weight capacity of 60lbs per bike. It locks your bikes to the rack and the rack to your hitch which is great to see. If you wanted to go this route with your electric bikes, then I have to recommend getting the Kuat Swing Away System # PVP20B just because it's AWESOME for truck owners! You can have access to your tailgate whenever you want even with bikes installed! This is my favorite set up for hauling bikes so if you're wanting it all, go for that. I know that's your goal!

If you're not a fan of that set up for some reason, you can just go ahead and get a tailgate pad like the Softride Shuttle Pad # SR26457. This is a simple solution that isn't the best but is the most cost effective way to get your bikes where you want to be. The tailgate pad could be used instead of both the Swagman Current and the Swagman Patrol as it can hold all 4 of your bikes. This is a solution, but not the best as it doesn't secure your bikes near as well as the other alternatives we talked about. Bikes tend to shift around a lot whenever your taking turns and they will not be locked to your truck nor will the pad. That's really something to think about since you'll have a cool looking, fully loaded 2020 F-150. Someone may get jealous and run off with your gear.

Those my friend are my recommendations if you really "want it all". I've included some videos of me using all these products to show you how they work to help make your decision. Remember, once you get your rig all set up be sure to take some pictures for our website! I love seeing trucks pimped out to the max with all our products. Of course show all your friends the fully loaded rig, tell them eTrailer helped you and say something like what Queen said, "look what they've done to my dream".
