Are Additional Diodes Needed for Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System
Question:
I am going to go with this brake system SM99251. After reviewing several videos for the JK wrangler, none have shown how to wire in 2 diodes that are included with this system. I currently have a plug and play JK harness from Cool Tech that does not require diodes when connected to my motorhome and the lights work fine. I do have LED taillights now installed and I think one video stated the diodes would be required for LEDs. My question is, are these the only diodes I need or do i need those power diode packs?

You will not need additional diodes when installing the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251.
The 10 amp diode that come with the kit are only needed if your tow wiring harness is not diode-protected. Since yours is not, you will install the diodes in-line with the green and yellow wire from the G-Force controller to the green and yellow tow bar wires.
I have added an install video for you to check out as well of the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251.
