Replacement Tire and Wheel for Old H78-15 Tire With 6 Lug Wheel on Horse Trailer

I have a horse trailer with 4 six lug rims and 4 H78-15 tires. What should I replace old with new?

The modern tire size for the H78-15 tires is 225/75-15, so you'll want to use something with that size as the replacement. Because you're using them on a horse trailer I recommend going with a Load Range E tire, which will give you the highest capacity at this size of tire at 2850-lbs.

Since you've got 6 lug wheels I recommend using the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range E # LHAW124 if you're looking to replace both the tires and wheels. If you're just looking for a tire, the Kenda # AM10303 will work well for you and is also a Load Range E tire.
