Help Identifying Cold Side Brake Wire For 2012 Hyundai Veracruz
Question:
Hello, i bought a Prodigy brake controller from you years ago and now want to use it on a different vehicle, my 2012 hyundai veracruz. Can you tell me what color the wire is at the brake switch under the dash. I am referring to the wire that i will connect the red wire from the brake controller to. The wires in the harness are very thin so its difficult to test with a probe. I just need to know the color of the cold side of the brake wire. Thank you.

I may be able to help you a little bit here, but unfortunately we have no way of knowing the color, and the color of the wire is not always an indicator of what the function is. The only way is going to be to test it, but you should be able to narrow it down by tracing the wires coming off the brake pedal. You may want to try something like the Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979 or Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to help make it easier to test the wire.
