Can Brophy Camper Tie Downs Be Used on Ford F-350 with Aluminum Bed
Question:
We have a 2018 f350 with an aluminum body. Will the truck support these brackets with a truck camper without bending the box?

Expert Reply:
We have spoken with Brophy in the past about the Ford F-350 with aluminum bed such as your 2018 model and they recommend using the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs part # HSSF. There won't be any issues with these tie downs and an aluminum bed so long as you are not exceeding other figures such as payload capacity etc. In order to secure the truck bed camper to these tie-downs you will also need the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles w/ Hardware for Camper Tie-Downs part # TDHP and you'd be set.
