Picking Out Trailer Wiring and Brake Controller for 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe

Hi, I have a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. I would like to get set up to tow with a brake controller. Ive watched videos, etc. and read a bunch, so I think Im comfortable with what I need below. My Question is this: I think I have the connectors I need on my vehicle to plug in the C56346 just ahead of the rear axle inside the fender well on the drivers side, but would like to verifyplease see attached, Also, the info says that these connector are present on the vehicle that has a Factory Tow Package. But this is all I seeno transmission cooler or anything else. The connectors you found do look like the standard trailer wiring connectors that your 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe would have if it has the factory tow package. I would be inclined to believe that the install harness part # 118258 is what you'd need but you might test the pins of the connectors for voltage with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to be sure.

Otherwise you'd need to start with a 4-way kit # 118415 which actually fits either way so it is a safe bet regardless.

The # ETBC7 is the correct adapter for going from a 4-way to a 7-way and for wiring up the brake controller. But the controller I would recommend the highest is the very reliable and well performing Brake EVN # TK63VR instead of what you mentioned as it's neither of those things!
