what is the distance from the back of the bed of a 2001 hd chev. 6.5 bed to mount back rail

The rail measurement is normally taken from the rear edge of the bed (not the tail gate) forward to the rear end of one of the rails. For Curt isntallation kit # C16418-204 for the 2001 Chevy Silverado the measurement is 47.5 inches from the rear edge of the bed to the rear edge of the forward most rail.
