Will Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs Work for Dirt Bike
Question:
Was looking at putting this on my 2018 Grand Design Solitude 375RES to carry a 270 lb dirt bike on a dirt bike receiver rack. Would it work? Thanks.

The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13702 has a 500 lb tongue weight capacity so it will work for your Grand Design Solitude so long as it has a box frame or C-channel frame that measures 18" to 51" wide from inside to inside of your frame. We don't have any measurements or frame styles so you'll need to take that measurement.
If your Grand Design has a box frame, C-channel frame, or I-beam frame that is wider, from 22" to 66" you can use the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13704.
That hitch also has a 500 lb tongue weight capacity which is more than enough for your dirt bike and carrier. I have added links to video reviews and instructions of that hitch as well as the # C13702.
If you have a bumper that is intruding as some of these RVs do, you will need a bumper-mounted hitch, the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100.
This has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs so you need to make sure your bumper is rated for that much weight and that your dirt bike and its carrier do not exceed that weight.
