Recommended Replacement Surge Brake Coupler To Replace Atwood 85778
Question:
I need to replace my Atwood 85778 brake actuator hitch but I cannot use the electronic brake release for backing up as I have 4 wire harness. Any ideas?

For your replacement hydraulic actuating coupler, I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - Zinc Plated - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM72VR. This does not have an electric lockout so it is recommended to be used with free backing brake assemblies like # AKFBBRK-35 or # AKFBBRK-7.
