Will the Rear Fascia of a 2012 Jeep Patriot Need to be Trimmed to Install a Curt Hitch

On your curt hitch for the 2012 patriot is there any cutting or trimming of the rear lower bumper required?

There will be minor trimming of the rear fascia on your 2012 Jeep Patriot to install the Curt Hitch # C12057. You will basically cut a 2 inch by 2-1/2 inch hole in the lower rear fascia. Check out the installation instructions I attached that show this.
I also attached a picture that shows the dimensions of the hole that will need to be cut.
