Can Weber Grill Designed for Throwaway Propane Tanks be Supplied by Larger Propane Tank
Question:
Hi- If I install this on the high pressure side of my RV propane system and have the female disposable connector available to connect an extension hose to, and then connect that hose directly to a Weber Q BBQ male disposable-type connector currently designed to take the 1 lb disposable green bottles, will the standard regulator supplied with the BBQ be able to handle the high pressure coming from the 102 lb 24 Gal tank on my RV? Or will I need to replace that regular to handle the high pressure? Thanks!!

Your grill will need regulated propane to function. If you ran high pressure propane it would not function properly and would most likely be dangerous. If you kept the regulator installed on the grill and ran the line to it you should be fine.
