Will Thule Compass Kayak Carrier Fit 2" x 2" Crossbars

Question:

I have a kayak trailer that I would like to use these on, my crossbars are 2x2 inch square steel. Would these be able to fit or could I just use longer bolts to make them work? Hard to tell dimension and size from pictures. Thanks!

The Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH890000 has an adapter kit # THXADAPT13 that allows it to be used for larger 1-1/2" tall ladder rack crossbars. Since your crossbars are 2" x 2" I'm not sure if this adapter will work, but you should be able to get longer hardware from your local hardware or home improvement store for that. I would just take your trailer and the carrier up to the store with you so that you can see what works best for your application.
