Troubleshooting Horse Trailer Interior Lights Not Functioning Towed by Ram 3500
Question:
Inside tack room, cargo lights and out side convenience lights on my trailer won’t work. I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500

Expert Reply:
Check the 12 volt accessory circuit fuse of the trailer wiring circuit you have on you Ram. The lights you have on your trailer that aren't working are powered by this circuit and often times it's a blown fuse that causes it to stop working since this circuit is active all the time which makes it easier to short out. Or you can check the pins of your 7-way for corrosion on this circuit and clean as needed as that's the other really common issue that causes problems on this circuit.
