Installation of Curt Trailer Hitch on 2020 Toyota Rav 4
Question:
The curt hitch installation instructions for the 2020 Toyota RAV4 does not indicate that I have to lower the exhaust to complete the installation like shown in the drawtite installation for the same class receiver. Please confirm if this is required, and please elaborate on any other differences between these hitches. Thanks!

Lowering the exhaust is necessary to install the Curt hitch part # C13416 on your 2020 Toyota Rav 4. It is not stated in the instructions, but once the exhaust is lowered, you put the hitch into position and install the hardware. I will attach our install video to help walk you through the process of getting this hitch installed on your Rav 4.
