Will the Brake Buddy work in 2002 Jeep Liberty?
Question:
Your Restrictions in the Flat Towing Package for 2002-2004 Jeep Liberty says Box braking systems will not fit the 2002-2004 Jeep Liberty. Will you Please tell me if that is accurate and if there is a way to make either the Brake Buddy or Blue Ox work? We specifically bought a 2002 Jeep Liberty because we thought it was capable of being flat towed which included the portable brake system. We obviously don't want to buy something that wont work but your information says two different things. Please help !!!

The Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 you're looking at is a great option for your 2002 Jeep Liberty and is what I recommend over the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR because we've found the Brake Buddy system to be more reliable.
Sometimes our fit list is a little behind because we list out fits for each individual vehicle which is why you're seeing that note. The Brake Buddy has adjustable legs to accommodate various vehicle styles to it will definitely fit your vehicle.
