Is There a Lightweight 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2014 Ram 2500 with 6.5' Bed

I have a 2014 ram 2500 with factory prep package, looking for a lightweight fifth wheel hitch I can take in and out or my second option is to use my 16k Reese hitch out of my 2005 ram 2500, what do I need

I have some great fifth wheel hitch options for a 2014 Ram 2500 with 6-1/2' bet but the problem is the short truck bed requires a sliding fifth wheel hitch and these are not light since they contains more parts than a fixed fifth wheel hitch. That said, you can take most apart into pieces making them much easier to move. The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16521 with Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch part # C16022 is my recommendation. The total weight is around 275 lbs but can be broken down into manageable sections.

If you want to use a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch then you'd need the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter part # RP30154.
