Troubleshooting Trailer Hitch Install Where Weld Nut Broke in Frame
Question:
It seems the furthest back on the drivers side weld nut M10-15mm inside the frame of my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan broke away from the frame. I can no longer take out that screw as it spins in place now and even if I can take it out that weld not is gone. How do I go about fixing this and installing my Curt 13364 Hitch?

If you can access an open end of the frame where the weld nut broke off you could fishwire a new carriage bolt in place of the weldnut. Otherwise you may have to weld the hitch on or see if a local garage like you mentioned could come up with a way to re-weld in a weld nut.
For a bolt leader you could then use the # C58400.
If you want to get the old bolt out you'd need to use a flexible magnet.
