Recommended Tonneau Cover Compatible with Thule TracRac for 2014 Ram 2500

Question:

Will this work with a Tracrac ladder rack system? What is the height of the panel when up and against the rear truck window. I currently have a 2500, 2014 Ram, 6’6” truck bed with a Tonneua cover. The current cover binds against the rail system of the rack. I am unable to make the Tracrac rails parallel with each other with the current cover. Thanks for your help

It sounds like you may have a Thule TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack like the # TH43003XT-501. I have a solution for you to use with that ladder rack but according to BAK, the BAKFlip FiberMax Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum and Fiberglass # BAK126203 is not compatible with that Thule rack because the uprights will interfere with folding up the tonneau.

Instead, we have confirmed that the BAK Revolver X4s # BAK64ZR is confirmed to fit with the Thule ladder rack systems since it mounts far enough inside the bed rails to not interfere with the uprights on the TracRac. The X4 gives you the best of both worlds since it's a roll up soft cover with aluminum backing that provides the security of a hard tonneau when it is rolled into place.
