Troubleshooting Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller Power Output

Question:

Right now the p3 is not mounted but when I hold it level from side to side but tilt up so I can see the numbers change but to a lower then what its set at when press brakes,thanks

For your Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195 I highly recommend mounting it so you can ensure it isn't recalibrating every time you move it. It has an internal inertia sensor that is likely causing the change in output as it is adjusting for your movement of the device as well as the deceleration of your braking. It is a proportional controller so the braking power output from your pedal will change based on the driving speed and braking pressure you apply each time.
