Finding Stoplight Circuit in 2017 Chevy Cruze to Install Brake Controller
Question:
I would like to put an electric brake controller in my 2017 Chevy Cruze Hatchback to help me haul an atv trailer Im going to equip with electric brakes. I am looking at the Tow-Pro Elite, but would like to know something before I buy it. Where do I find the brake control wire in my car that connects to the blue wire on the controller?

The Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller part # RED44FR is a really great choice for your 2017 Chevy Cruze. To tap into the stoplight circuit you'll need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that lead to the stoplight switch behind the brake pedal. The wire that has voltage only when the brakes are applied is the one to use for this.
