The best bike rack for your hybrid specialized bikes and your 2011 Mazda Miata will likely be a hitch mount bike rack, but this will require your vehicle to have a trailer hitch. Hitch mount bike racks will have zero contact with the vehicle and you have the option of choosing a platform style bike rack that makes it easier to load and carry specialized bikes.
If you are interested in this option and need a trailer hitch, then you can install the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # 11028, as long as you do not have the appearance package or a retractable hardtop convertible model. There is drilling and fascia trimming required for installation, so I would recommend having a qualified professional perform the installation, unless you are familiar and comfortable with installing trailer hitches.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.
For a bike rack, I would recommend the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670. This is a platform style bike rack that holds the bikes and the frame and wheels for a secure grip. The platform style design also makes it easy to load the bikes.
If your hybrid bikes do not have a horizontal top tube, then you may also want to get a bike adapter bar for alternative bike frames like part # 64005, to make it easier and safer to load the bikes on the bike rack. I have attached a video showing how to use the adapter bar.
