Recommended Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace
Question:
Built a 14 ft wooden kayak. Have a 2018 Jaguar F-pace has no roof rack tho does have rails open to suggestions need excellent padding and ease of installation. Also will need cross bars...does Thule make cross bar that will work with my vehicle without buying roof rack?

In order to carry a kayak on the roof of your 2018 Jaguar F-Pace you will need a roof rack. I recommend using the Thule WingBar Evo system as Thule is currently (June 2020) the only fit available and the WingBar Evo looks much better than the AeroBlade Edge in my opinion. For this roof rack you need the following parts:
47" WingBar Evo Crossbars - Black # TH711220 or Silver # TH711200
Evo Flush Rail Feet - # TH710601
Fit Kit - # TH69JV
When it comes to a kayak carrier I really like the Yakima JayLow # Y04073, but if you're wanting something that makes loading your kayak easier then the Yakima SweetRoll # Y04074 with the Felt Pads # Y08004080 is definitely what you want to use. The rear saddles have an integrated roller so that you can rest and then push your kayak on top from behind your vehicle.
