Winch Mount and D-Ring Recommendation for 4400 lb Capacity
Question:
I purchased the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch - Synthetic Rope - Hawse Fairlead - 4,400 lbs - BDW15020. I will be using it as a portable winch to attach to different anchoring points. I was looking for a mounting plate for the winch that has d-ring anchor.

Other than receiver hitch mounts like # BDW20155 or model specific mounts for ATV's and UTV's, we don't really offer a 'universal' mount. I've seen folks use a receiver mount in conjunction with something like the # E-11 welded to a car trailer to provide a stable quick-disconnect mount, if that's what you have in mind for your Bulldog # BDW15020 winch.
If you decide to do something along those lines, it's best to have a professional to handle that type of fabrication work, to ensure that the welds are strong enough to withstand the forces that the mount would experience. For a D-ring, something like # 337B46 would be recommended.
