Troubleshooting 4-Way of ETBC7 Not Working
Question:
I purchased a flat four to seven rv style trailer connector with an additional output for my utility trailer from you a while back. The seven way works fine but the four way for the utility trailer quit working for turn lights.... The trailer wiring is fine as I can plug into the original flat four from the car and all is well. Was there any warranty on this adapter or any suggestions.

It looks like you have the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7, and if the 4-way portion does not work, but you are certain the wiring on your trailer and tow vehicle is just fine, I recommend checking the 4-way for possible corrosion, which which can be green or white in color and interfere with the signals.
Otherwise, what you'll need to do is replace the adapter portion of the kit - which has a 90-day warranty - with the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185.
