Can the Weld-On Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack be Installed on a 6 Inch Trailer Frame

Question:

I dont understand why a weld-on product would state a frame size limit? Is there a specific reason why someone experienced with a welder couldnt weld this jack on to a 6inch frame? Thank you.

Actually, you could weld the Fulton trailer jack # F1413200334 to a 6 inch frame if you wanted. Fulton does list the weld-on jacks as fitting a certain frame size but if the frame is a little larger it would not be an issue. As long as there is enough surface area for a proper weld you can use this jack.
