Right Turn Signal Only Works when Brakes Applied on Trailer Towed by 2010 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
the only way the signel ligh will work is to put your foot on the brake before i put the single light on the right side.

This sounds like a ground issue since it is just the turn signal on the right side.. What you will want to do is make sure that the main trailer connector ground and the light grounds are all attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces.
Also make sure the trailer and vehicle side connectors are clean and that the trailer wiring converter on the vehicle, unless it was a factory harness, is properly grounded to bare metal.
