Kayak Carrier that Fits 2015 Toyota Highlander with Factory Crossbars that is Lockable

Question:

Does the TH890000 fit my highlander? If yes, is there more room for a cargo box w two 8-10” SOT beginner kayaks loaded? What size? Lastly does the rack lock or what do you recommend to secure them? Thank you!! Sorry if duplicate question, my browser didn’t show “ask a question” link then didn’t appear to submit. Anxious to Lind this up do I can order the kayaks ASAP. Thanks again! ????????

Yes the Thule Compass kayak carrier part # TH890000 that you referenced does fit the factory crossbars of your 2015 Toyota Highlander. Looking at the factory bars of your vehicle I don't think you'd be able to fit both the kayaks and a cargo box as well.

The best solution to lock the Compass would be a cable lock like the Thule Cable Lock w/ One Key System Lock - 6' Long part # TH538XT. The Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs part # TH849000 is a carrier that can be locked to the roof rack but only transports one boat so you would need two of them.
