Does Curt Q20 5th Wheel Hitch Fit Industry Standard Base Rails
Question:
I had reese rails installed at 22 inch spacing for my anderson hitch. I am upgrading my rv and are thinking of going to the curt q20. Will the q20 fit into the same rail spacing? If so,what is the maximum height adjustment I can get on a q20?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16130 will absolutely fit the base rails that are spaced 22 inches apart, which are industry-standard base rails like the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP30035.
The Q20 has a maximum height adjustment of up to 17 inches. It is a really good choice for a hitch because of its sturdy dual jaw system which makes full contact with your king pin, meaning a comfortable ride, and because its color-coded lock indicator makes the hitch easier to use than other hitches.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16130.
