Ball Mount with 6 inch Drop and 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball
Question:
Suburu Ascent 2019 Limited, need a 6-9inch drop for boat trailer that has a 1 7/8inch ball. It seems like this is really for larger diameter balls. Or is there a better option? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
For a 6 inch drop ball mount that would fit the 2 inch hitch of your 2019 Subaru Ascent we have the Draw Tite part # 40346 and then for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you'd want the part # 19260 and you'd be set. The Curt ball mount does not have the smaller ball size available for it since the ball hole is larger.
