Differences Between Curt A20 and Q20 Fifth Wheel Hitches
Question:
What is the difference between the Curt A20 and Q20? Thanks

The A20, like # C16140 essentially an updated version of the # C16130 Q20. The A-series hitches feature an interlocking jaw that holds the king pin very tightly all the way around its circumference for a very smooth ride without all the clanging and banging that would be experienced with lower-quality hitches. The head unit of the A-series fully articulates using torsion inserts that allows the head to articulate but also suppress shock. The head is easily removed by taking out one pin, which allows the hitch to be removed in two pieces so it's not so heavy. The Q20 uses a spherical axial bearing that does a similar thing as the torsion inserts used on the A-series, just not quite as well.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the A-20 because of the improved ride quality it offers. I've linked to product description videos featuring both hitches.
