Is There a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch to Fit a 2019 Ford F-350 with 6-3/4 Foot Bed

Question:

I dont see the Reese Titan hitch sold as a complete unit, just spare parts. I also dont see any NON sliding hitch for my 2019 F-350 6-3/4 bed with above rails. Am I going to need a sliding hitch? 2020 cedar creek 34ik trailer. Any recommendation appreciated. Thanks

The Reese Titan was actually discontinued a few years ago so the complete hitch is no longer available. The hitch that took its place is the M5, part # RP30928.

Generally we recommend sliding hitches for trucks with beds shorter than 8 feet but since you're 2020 Cedar Creek has a tapered nose you might get away with a fixed hitch. You can do some measuring and a little math to find out if you need a slider or not.

Measure from the back of your truck's cab to location where the king pin will sit in the hitch's jaws, probably right over the axle or just forward of it. Measure the width of the nose of your trailer and divide that by 2. Then subtract the second number from the first number, if you're left with 4 or more than you have enough clearance to make a full 90 degree turn. Any less than 4 you'll need a sliding hitch like part # RP30075 to complete a 90 degree turn.

On another note if you also need wiring in your truck's bed I recommend part # C57008. It plugs inline with your truck's 7-way so you keep the one at the bumper and it includes rubber well nuts to keep the hardware from making contact with the aluminum bed.
